What Happened to Reading?
College has overwhelmed all our lives. It forces us to read only for the sake of reading because of the 203320939 boring, tedious textbooks we have to read all day long. But what happened to reading for pleasure? What happened to those days when you would just grab a good book and relax your mind from the hustle and bustle of hectic, daily life? I feel like those days are forever gone. But, I’d like them to come back. I’d like to disappear into a world of adventures, that at least I could make come true in a world of words, if not in real life. As childish as it sounds, I miss reading books that were actually worth reading. I’m ready to bring back those rainy, adventure-filled days when books were my solution to everything ;)
